Dear Postgraduate Students,

We welcome you to the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of Democritus University of Thrace and congratulate you on your admission to the Postgraduate Study Program (MSc) of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science, “Functional Management of Injuries in Athletes and Exercisers”.

Our primary aim is to prepare you—as exercise and health professionals—to manage the causes and consequences of musculoskeletal injuries in athletes and individuals who exercise.

The interdisciplinary and “functional” nature of the program will prepare you to become more creative in successfully addressing the multifactorial challenges faced by an injured athlete or exerciser.

At the same time, like every postgraduate program, we aspire to prepare future exercise specialists to generate new knowledge in the field of functional exercise and develop innovative applications of it.

My colleagues and I believe in the value of team interaction during the educational process, and we are always open to new ideas from you.
