We welcome you to the Postgraduate Study Program (MSc) “Functional Rehabilitation of Injuries in Athletes and Trainees”of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science, of Democritus University of Thrace which operates since the Academic Year 2017-2018

Our primary aim is to prepare you—as exercise and health professionals—to manage the causes and consequences of musculoskeletal injuries in athletes and individuals who exercise.

The interdisciplinary and “functional” nature of the program will prepare you to become more creative in successfully addressing the multifactorial challenges faced by an injured athlete or exerciser.

At the same time, like every postgraduate program, we aspire to prepare future exercise specialists to generate new knowledge in the field of functional exercise and develop innovative applications of it.
